    First off, let me say I love this software. Dreamweaver is amazing, and works beautifully with Fireworks and Photoshop. Right now I manage three sites at a time with Dreamweaver, and it works very well; no problem. I love and have loved Adobe Flash for years, and the new Motion Tweens (look it up) are very easy to use! The Photoshop version that comes with this is the Extended version, meaning it can do 3D too! I use Fireworks to slice my pages, and I suggest you do too because it generates the HTML to “reconstitute” the page. Install only took about an hour. The programs load very fast on Windows Vista, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB ram. Don’t accept anything but this for website development! It is worth it!
  2. Damaged during shipping on Saturday 28, 2009
    I received my order today for the Adobe Creative Suite 4. When I opened the package of software I found that the disks were unattached within the box. I have not tried to load the disks yet so I do not know if they are damaged. This software cost over $1600 and should have arrived in perfect condition. There was no outside damage to the box.
  3. Buyer Beware on Saturday 28, 2009
    I was enthusiastic about upgrading from CS1 to CS4. I loved having all the products bundled. So, I paid my $599 directly on Adobe’s Web site, downloaded the software, and tried to install it with the serial number they gave me. No luck. When you get to the screen where it asks what product you are upgrading from, CS 1 is not listed. Tech support was little help. I tried to return the product, but Adobe just took away my license (so the serial number is no longer valid) and to date (since February 2009 and it is now June 2009) has refused to issue a credit for the $599. In the meantime, I had ordered the disks for another $25, which did me no good without a valid serial number. I also ordered Acrobat Pro 9 to replace the CS bundle, because I had to have that upgrade (Acrobat 9 does have much better form field tools). At any rate, buy beware if you are upgrading from CS 1. It is a painful process because Adobe failed to list CS 1 as a valid “upgrade from” product in their installation wizard.
  4. Choose Adobe Tools Over Microsoft on Saturday 28, 2009
    We tried Microsoft’s Expression Web tools and were disappointed. Adobe makes better Web development tools and offers a more complete tool set. Dreamweaver has always been good and gets better with each release. We also highly recommend ColdFusion and Flex. If you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out. They are powerful and have helped us boost our efficiency and productivity. Our only complaint is that most Adobe software products do not run on Linux. Are you listening Adobe? Linux-compatibility would be a BIG enhancement!

    They have made the feature sets even better! It is slick with many new and improved methods. Even the clone tool shows what it will do before you click, and the list goes on. The new version sells in up-sell and upgrade. As an early buyer, I was told by Adobe to order the Upgrade. This was wrong information (I needed the up-sell). Have you ever tried to return the wrong software if opened? It wasn’t easy, and Adobe was no help at all, even though I was told to order that exact package by them. Thanks Amazon, for taking care of this problem (they are AMAZING). I got the correct package and all is well. Thanks Adobe, for all the problems with your wording (now fixed). BE CAREFUL when you order. The product is wonderful but Adobe is big power guy non helpful.

    This was a huge upgrade from cs3. I love most the changes. I like the new style also. I was kind of annoyed with how they changed a lot of the fonts. I have a lot of web pages with image links and had to change them all because the fonts changed. Ultimately though it’s been great.
